Each member was invited to select their five favorite photographs and score each of them from five points for the image they considered should be placed first down to one for the image they considered should be placed fifth.
After all the pictures had been scrutinised and the scores fed through the supercomputer (well Dave and Garvin actually) the winners were announced.
First place was awarded to Dave Brennan for his beautifully captured puffin with a beak full of sand eels.
Second and third places were both awarded to Alan Thompson for his imposing photograph of Cragside House and of a striking but simple portrait of a Shutzu cleverly incorporated into a landscape..
Each of the winners was presented with a magnificent(ish) trophy emblazoned with an image of a Nikon DSLR. Truly a prize beyond price.
