As usual we had excellent results which began with John's photograph of several marbles beautifully reflected in a black glass base giving the illusion of both the marbles and the reflection sitting in a vast black open space.
Alan's photograph showed an array of snooker balls on a snooker table focusing our interest on the red ball over the pocket using a very shallow depth of field with the bonus of a few beers after the project was completed no doubt.
Next Garvin's photograph of a crystal ball which gave the false impression of an upside down world through the object and also the illusion of it floating in mid air after Photoshop was used to clone out the shot glass that the crystal ball was sitting on.
Derek had hijacked his sons football trophy and photographed the golden coloured football on the top of said trophy and finally giving it back to his son once completed unlike the Jules Rimet Trophy he borrowed to photograph in 1973.
Our very own Dan brought in a fantastic photograph of a glass planet earth with acid etched countries being highlighted by the light and background travelling through said planet.
Our final interpretation for the night was from young Sam who proudly displayed a photograph of a common crane with a beautifully highlighted black and red eye.
well done to each member who brought in their interpretation and let's see how we get on with the next challenge.
'I've got a photographic memory, but everything is out of focus!'
