Numerous discussions were held this evening which included a discussion about our photographic trip on Sunday, how the new members can add themselves to the West Moor Camera Club flickr group, the up and coming AV event and then the usual Nikon versus Canon festivities started, but as everyone knows ‘Ni’ is Japanese for two and ‘Kon’ means place so Nikon simply means ‘second place’.
We continued the evening with a number of club members presenting their interpretation of this evenings subject ‘Metal’. A number of fantastic photo’s were presented including Dave’s rusty nuts and bolts, Tony’s rusty metal bar, Craig’s Tyne Bridge, Alan’s Newcastle's High-Level bridge and Garvin’s heavy metal lead guitarist.
At the close of the evening members were asked to submit three photographs before the 16th February in readiness for the up and coming critique night on 1st March.
A Canon user and a Nikon user are visiting the Gents.
The Canon guy finishes first simply pulling up his zip and heading for the door.
As he is leaving, the Nikon guy turns his head towards him and says “Excuse me, Nikon photographer’s wash their hands when they are finished urinating”.
The Canon guy retorts’ ”I understand, but Canon guys don’t pee on their hands”.
