There were no hard and fast rules about the subject matter other that images should represent H2O in one of its physical forms, namely gas (i.e. steam - which is in fact invisible but water vapour was acceptable), liquid or solid.
Again it could fresh water, salty water, still water, moving water, still life or whatever else took the photographer's fancy.
Before things started, we were able to welcome 3 potential new members, Nicola Cookson, Tony Flynn and Jeff Balmer who attended the club for the first time.
We also learned that member Dave Fletcher had recently received a Mark of Excellence award in a photography competition on the ‘I shot It’ website. Appropriate to the evening's theme the image was of huge waves crashing over Seaham Pier.
